| ELECTRIC BIKE DESCRIPTION: These bikes are the neatest thing since sliced bread. I have done extensive riding and been unable to run the batteries down. They operate in 3 modes. 1-Normal bicycle, 2-Pedal assist, or 3-Scooter only. In normal bike mode this bike handles and pedals well with 6 speeds. In Pedal assist mode you would normally ride in 6th gear (on flat ground) and when you pedal the motor assists you in pedaling...when you stop pedaling you will coast indefinitely. In Scooter mode you twist the right handle like a motorcycle and can either pedal along, or simply use the electric motor to propel you along. I am not the fittest person in the world, but I can easily cover 20 miles in an hour with pedal assist, and a little cheating (scooter mode). I have been out for 2-3 hours at a time and never came close to running the batteries down. |

Pickup/Delivery
Options: 1-These bikes can be shipped (SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED) to the Continental USA for $200. They are packed well at the factory in stiff cardboard, but there will most likely be a scratch or 2 somewhere. They are shipped insured motor freight, so it is the buyers responsibility to note damage and make a claim on the carrier (NOT ME). 2-I like this option much better, and it is totally FREE. It is called CUSTOMER PICK UP AT MY STORE. You get an assembled bike (which might still have a scratch or two from shipping) but at least you get a chance to bitch or complain about it (or ask for your money back politely). 3-I am capable of delivering these with my pickup truck. It burns diesel fuel which cost me around $4.25 per gallon and requires a driver that wants paid as well. This option costs $1.50 per mile and is only available if quoted in advance of auction's end. |
